Economics editor leaves Birmingham Post

The Birmingham Post’s economics editor, Nevill Boyd Maunsell, has retired.

He left on Friday 7 August after spending 36 years on the city desk. After his first retirement in 1993, he worked part-time at the newspaper.

Alun Thorne, head of business, is the main contact for economics and finance news for the Post.
