The Edinburgh Herald and Post has been revamped with a new design and more focused content.

The weekly freesheet now hones in on bringing consumer news, features and listings to the city’s shopping and services sector, as well as providing local community news coverage.

Helen Martin takes charge as editor of the title. She is former features editor of the Edinburgh Evening News and was communications manager at Scotsman Publications, now owned by Johnston Press. Martin will continue to write her weekly column in the Evening News every Monday.

The revamped newspaper will be delivered to households from Thursday 11 February.

The Herald and Post Edinburgh is published by The Scotsman Publications, owned by Johnston Press.
