The Royal Institution of Naval Architects has hired Nick Savvides as editor of The Naval Architect and managing editor of Shiprepair & Conversion Technology.

Savvides begins on 16 June and replaces Hugh O’Mahony.

The Naval Architect provides technical information on all aspects of ship design, construction and outfitting. Shiprepair & Conversion Technology contains technical descriptions of major advances and in-service reports on paints and coatings, developments in shipyard equipment and technology, surface preparation and software for ship repair.
