Archant Life has appointed Rachel Curran as editor of Somerset Life.

Curran joined the monthly magazine at the end of October after leaving Devon Life, where she was editorial assistant. Prior to joining the title, she had worked for the BBC.

Former editor Nicki Lukehurst has moved to France.

Somerset Life covers property, town features, countryside and gardens, interiors, fashion, health and beauty, dining out, events and lifestyle, motoring, society and heritage for ABC1 readers.

Devon Life is also a monthly magazine from Archant Life covering the same topics.
