Editor leaves BBC Radio programmes
Colin Hancock, editor of BBC Radio 4’s The World This Weekend and World at One, has taken voluntary redundancy from the BBC.
In the wake of recent announcements of restructuring at the BBC, Hancock’s job was to be merged with that of the editor of Radio 4 shows PM and Broadcasting House.
Of his departure, Hancock said: “I’ve had a great 20 years in the BBC, 10 of them as an editor on Radio 4, Radio 1 and BBC3, and I’m grateful to everyone who’s made working in news such a pleasure.”
Peter Rippon takes over as editor for both of these programmes.
