Editor leaves Cork weekly

Cork Independent editor, David Forsythe, will be leaving the company on 3 July to become a director at Cork news agency, Southern News Network.

He is replaced at the Cork Independent by Deirdre O’Shaughnessy, who was previously deputy editor at the Galway Independent. O’Shaughnessy takes up the role of editor on 9 July.
