Editor leaves InStyle for Marie Claire

Trish Halpin has been appointed editor of Marie Claire.

Halpin will join the IPC Media women’s monthly on 2 February 2009, leaving her current position as editor of InStyle. She replaces Marie O’Riordan, who leaves at the end of 2008.

Marie Claire is a fashion magazine aimed at women over 20 years of age. It also covers beauty, home and lifestyle.

InStyle is a monthly fashion magazine which gives readers access to celebrity fashion secrets.
