Staffordshire weekly The Post & Times series has promoted Hayley Parker to the role of editor.

From 30 November, Parker, who started as a trainee reporter on the paper just under three years ago, is in charge of the Leek Post & Times, the Uttoxeter Post & Times and the Cheadle Post & Times.

Previous editor Rob Cotterill has rejoined sister West Midlands daily, The Sentinel, in a senior role.

The Post & Times series and The Sentinel are both published by the Midlands division of publisher Northcliffe Media.
