Editor retires from The Lady
The Lady is recruiting a new editor following the departure of Arline Usden.
Usden, the title’s eighth editor since it launched in 1885, retired on 13 May after 18 years at the helm.
Sarah Kennedy, previously editor at large, is now acting editor while a replacement is being recruited.
The Lady is England’s oldest weekly magazine for women and covers culture, travel, interviews, gardening, art and antiques, books, finance and history, fashion, cookery and beauty for ABC1 women. It was revamped and relaunched in March 2009.
