Editorial appointment at The Daily Telegraph

The Daily Telegraph has appointed Malcolm Coles as director of digital media to replace Ben Clissitt, who is joining Bloomberg.

Coles joins from Trinity Mirror in the New Year and will be part of a six-strong editorial team who will report to director of content Chris Evans.

The others include Robert Winnett, Allister Heath, Ian MacGregor, and Kate Day who has taken on the title of director future media. A director of lifestyle is expected to be confirmed shortly.
