Editorial appointments at Fresh Produce Journal

Two new staff have been appointed to the Fresh Produce Journal (FPJ) editorial team.

Samantha Lyster joins as deputy editor. She has extensive experience as a journalist, having worked for five years as online projects editor at The Times, and has also held staff positions at titles including Retail Week and Property Week.

She has also worked at the Birmingham Post, and covered fresh food via her blog, Table Manners Magazine, as well as freelancing for titles such as The Grocer.

New reporter Tom Hobbs is a graduate of the PMA training course and has worked at Vitesse Media, Square Meal and ITN. He also freelances as a games writer.
