12th April 2013

There have been several editorial changes at Media Wales, including South Wales Echo, Western Mail, and Wales on Sunday.

Catrin Pascoe, previously head of content, has been appointed as executive editor (news).

Tryst Williams, previously deputy head of content, has been appointed as head of news, taking overall responsibility for the news coverage at Media Wales.

Head of features Margaret O'Reilly has now left the business. No one has been appointed to directly replace her, though Hannah Jones has been appointed as Saturday magazine editor and will take on some of O'Reilly's responsibilities.

Claire Rees, senior feature writer, and Wendy Horton, Caerphilly reporter, have both left Media Wales.
