The Southside Press editorial director and publisher John Maclean is stepping down from his position.

Maclean has put the Southside Press and sister titles The Govan Press and East Renfrewshire Press up for sale six years after buying the series.

Both Maclean and sales director Lesley McComiskey are said to be in discussions with a number of groups over the future of the free series.
