Several Archant titles in East Anglia are to share editors in a shake-up.

Peter Waters, currently editor of the Eastern Daily Press, is to leave the company after three years at the helm of the EDP.

As a result of his departure, Nigel Pickover, currently editor of stablemate daily the Ipswich Star, is to become editor-in-chief of the EDP and Norwich Evening News

The Ipswich Star will be edited by current East Anglian Daily Times editor Terry Hunt, who is also group editor of weeklies in the region and the UK's longest serving editor of a single title.

Tim Williams, Norwich Evening News' editor, will take up the role of development editor at the publisher.
