Financial services provider Engage Mutual Assurance has appointed PR and social media agency Umpf to provide publicity support for the company’s title sponsorship of this year’s Engage Super League.

Engage Mutual, whose financial portfolio includes tax-exempt savings plans, over 50s life cover and health cash plans, has been title sponsor of the UK’s premier rugby league competition since 2005.

Umpf, which won the account following a three-way pitch in December, will help promote the society’s sponsorship of the Engage Super League XVI season which kicks off in Cardiff this weekend (February 12-13).

The Leeds-based agency will run a number of campaign platforms during the nine-month season around finance, health as well as the society’s mutual status – the work will cover traditional PR, social media and digital channels.
