Ex-Hello! deputy appointed editor at Kent weekly

Kent weekly the Sevenoaks Chronicle has appointed Roger Kasper as editor.

He replaces Ian Read, who moved to Northcliffe Media’s Tunbridge Wells office in June.

Kasper was previously news editor of the Canterbury Times, Whitstable Times and Herne Bay Times.

He is a former deputy editor of both OK! and Hello! magazines, former acting editor of the Mirror’s TV magazine We Love Telly!, has been a consultant editor for the Mail on Sunday and has covered showbiz and features for the News of the World.
