Dennis Publishing has announced that consumer technology review site Expert Reviews has expanded into the white goods category.

The home appliance section already has several washing machine reviews, including models from LG, AEG, Panasonic and Samsung, and will expand to other home appliances categories in the future.

The new section uses a custom-built test lab in Peterborough, where all products undergo strict and fair testing. Washing machines are tested to see how well they remove stains, their spin performance, efficiency, noise and ease of use.

David Ludlow, group editor of Expert Reviews and Computer Shopper, said: “With the launch of our home appliances section, we’ve added washing machines into the mix, with a plan to add tumble dryers, fridges and freezers over the coming months.”
