Final edition of The Review Show to air this Sunday
The last edition of The Review Show will air this Sunday following the BBC's decision to axe the arts programme.
The show, launched as The Late Review in 1994 on BBC Two, relaunched as The Review Show in 2010. It was moved from BBC Two to BBC Four last year, expanding from a Friday night half-hour show to an hour-long Sunday slot.
The last programme will feature reviews of West End musicals 'I Can't Sing!' and 'Urinetown', as well as BBC1 drama 'The Crimson Field', and Richard Ayoade's upcoming film release 'The Double'.
Director general Tony Hall unveiled details of a series of arts commissions at an event this week.
