Financial Times appoints fashion editor

The Financial Times has appointed Jo Ellison as fashion editor.

Ellison joins from Vogue where she is features director and was previously features editor at The Independent. She replaces Vanessa Friedman who left the FT for the New York Times last month.

Ellison will begin her role at the Financial Times in August. She tweets @jellison22.
