Financial Times appoints foreign editor and assistant editor

The Financial Times (FT) has appointed Roula Khalaf as foreign editor and assistant editor.

Khalaf has been the FT's Middle East editor for the past 13 years and has previously worked as North Africa correspondent for the Financial Times and a staff writer for Forbes magazine in New York.

From 15 October, Khalaf will support the FT's global network of foreign correspondents. She can be found tweeting @khalafroula.
