Financial Times (FT) appoints vice president of communities

The Financial Times (FT) has appointed Stacy-Marie Ishmael as vice president of communities.

The created role will involve growing reader engagement and strengthening the FT's relationship with its audience across numerous channels.

In 2008, Ishmael established the New York bureau of the FT Alphaville financial blog. She rejoins the Financial Times from US technology start-up Percolate Industries where she was product manager.
