The Financial Times has announced the launch of FT Tilt, an online financial news and analysis service focused exclusively on the emerging world.

Features of the site include Tilt Populi, a community area where members can exchange and share their comment and research on emerging market issues and Tilt Pro, which is a subscription-only area where users can access exclusive news and analysis content.

Staffed by a team of writers stationed in regional bureaux around the world, website access is offered on a tiered, membership-only basis, with complimentary members able to view community pages and use filtering and notification tools.

Stacy-Marie Ishmael and Paul Murphy have moved across from the FT’s Alphaville blog to become editor and editor-in-chief of the site, respectively.
