Fire PR founder Stu Campbell has launched a second consultancy called Ember Communications.

The new company will operate as a totally independent sister agency to Fire. Together the companies form The Campbell Consultancies Group where Stu Campbell will take on a group CEO role and former journalist Danny Brogan will become editorial manager.

Ember launches with Santok Enterprises, the mobile phone accessory specialist, as its first retained client. The agency’s brief is to build trade awareness around the Santok organisation and also to drive demand within key international markets for its consumer products, which are sold under the STK brand.

Campbell has already hired two consultants who join the Ember team later this month and is currently in the process of recruiting an agency head. Fire PR’s senior campaign manager, Amanda Wadlow, promoted into the management role of client director.

Campbell commented: “We’ve proven that the boutique consultancy model works and has equal clout when competing with bigger agencies. Now is a good time to launch Ember and take the business into an exciting new era.”
