Fire PR joins up with African Passions
Fire PR has been appointed by African Passions as its charity partner.
African Passions is a charitable foundation, based in Kisii, Kenya, working to help children gain life skills through participation in team sports & extra-curricular education. The charity works to help kids better themselves & face many of the health, social & economic challenges they will face through youth & on to adulthood.
The Fire PR team will donating 60 days of time to support the cause over the next year.
Fire PR MD, Stu Campbell, who will lead the account said: “Our work will focus on building awareness, issues profiling & supporting nationwide fundraising events run by the charity. Tactics will include traditional, broadcast & digital PR, plus celebrity liaison.”
Fire PR Operations & Finance Director, Grant Carran, who has previously spent two years travelling around Africa, said: “We wanted to work with a unique charity on a pro-bono basis because we feel it’s important to give something back. Often, foreign aid focuses on dealing with the consequences, whereas African Passions attacks the root causes.”
