Foods Matter, the monthly magazine for those living on restricted diets, is going entirely digital from 1 January 2010.
It is being subsumed into the greatly enlarged and upgraded Foods Matter website at www.foodsmatter.com. It includes a new section on freefrom food (thousands of links to producers, over 250 freefrom recipes, new product and tasting reports, links for freefrom eating out and staying away) as well as over 2,000 pages of articles and research reports on allergy and intolerance and all the many conditions related to it.
The magazine was founded by Michelle Berriedale-Johnson, a food historian, food journalist and ex-caterer, whose small son was diagnosed with a dairy intolerance over twenty years ago. Berriedale-Johnson still edits the magazine today.
