Former Mirror head of news joins Daily Record

The Daily Mirror’s former head of news, Andy Lines, is moving to the Daily Record on November 12.

After freelancing for 18 months, Lines will become head of news at the Daily Record, replacing Tom Hamilton, who has been appointed assistant editor (news).

Lines was also previously editor of the Scottish Sun and news editor of the Sunday Scot.
