Freedom Leisure, the not-for-profit leisure trust in the South East has appointed health and fitness specialist Action PR as their PR agency.

Freedom Leisure manages 29 leisure and entertainment venues across Sussex and Kent including K2 Crawley, an approved Olympic training facility which will play host to athletes from Barbados during the London 2012 Games.

The trust is looking to ramp up PR activity to showcase facilities and initiatives across all of its 29 centres. Action PR will focus on trade and consumer PR both locally and nationally to spread the message that Freedom Leisure provides high quality community leisure and fitness for everyone. They will also work closely with the brand on the roll out of new social media activity.

Action PR was set up in 2009 by Dawn Tuckwell and Cheryl Hersey who also represent Everyone Active, Trixter and SOLE.
