GMTV Scotland recruits producer

GMTV Scotland has appointed Brian O’Neill as news presenter and producer.

O’Neill will produce daily bulletins to be broadcast to viewers in Central and Northern Scotland during the GMTV slot.

A replacement for O’Neill’s previous role, head of planning (north) has not yet been appointed.

GMTV is a national breakfast show, with regular regional news bulletins, which is broadcast from Monday to Friday across the ITV network.

ITV Tyne Tees is the local ITV broadcaster for North East England.

The flagship evening news programme, North East Tonight, is aired from 1800-1830 every weeknight.
