Gold loses presenters

By Staff

17th March 2014

Global Radio is dropping presenters from its Gold network in favour of non-stop music outside of the breakfast show.

Tony Dibbin will continue to present The More Music Breakfast Show, weekdays from 06:00 to 10:00 but the change will result in Paul Coyte, Dean Martin, Eamonn Kelly and Andy Peebles leaving the station.

From Sunday (23 March), Gold, which has a core audience of 45-64 year olds, will only broadcast in London, East Midlands and Manchester, with the majority of its AM frequencies being taken over by the London ouput of Smooth Radio.
