Golley Slater on the menu for The Big Lunch
Golley Slater North has been appointed to manage the regional PR and stakeholder campaign for The Big Lunch 2011 throughout Yorkshire and Humberside, the North West and the North East.
Coordinated from its London office, Golley Slater will use its network of UK offices to deliver local campaigns within a nationally co-ordinated programme. Activities will target consumers, local authorities and community groups.
The Big Lunch, an idea from The Eden Project, aims to get as many of the 61 million people in the UK as possible to have lunch with their neighbours.
A number of local celebrities have put their weight behind the campaign including celebrity chef, James Martin in Yorkshire and Humber, actress Jill Half-Penny in the North East and ex Atomic Kitten Liz McClaron in the North West.
Led by the Eden Project, The Big Lunch is funded by The Big Lottery Fund and is supported by MasterCard and EDF Energy.
