Golley Slater Scotland appointed for Healthyliving award campaign
Golley Slater Scotland has been appointed by Consumer Focus Scotland to create a campaign for its Healthyliving award.
The Healthyliving award rewards catering outlets for providing and promoting healthier food choices for customers. However, changes to EU legislation mean vendors must stop using the Healthyliving award green apple logo to signpost ‘healthier’ menu items.
Golley Slater Scotland will develop an advertising and point of sale campaign that both adheres to the new legislation and complements the award’s recognisable brand. It will be supported by trade and consumer advertising and PR campaigns to raise awareness of changes and encourage more food retailers to sign up for the award.
Gillian Wylie, account director at Golley Slater Scotland, commented: “Hundreds of food vendors across Scotland already have Healthyliving award status, so the challenge for us was to develop a creative approach that meets the requirements of EU legislation while at the same time developing the existing brand. Our approach will make it easy for food retailers to continue promoting their award status and educate customers about healthy food choices.”
