Guardian hires Daily Mail chief sports writer

Paul Hayward, the Daily Mail’s chief sports writer, has been appointed senior sports writer for Guardian News and Media.

Hayward will be working across the Guardian, the Observer and guardian.co.uk and is expected to join after the company completes its move to new premises in Kings Cross, north London, at the end of the year.
