Guardian News and Media has sold investment magazine Money Observer to Moneywise Publishing.

Money Observer will sit alongside personal finance title Moneywise, investment website Interactive Investor and video service iBall, which are all owned by Capital Accumulation Limited.

Guardian News and Media, owner of the Guardian, the Observer and MediaGuardian.co.uk, acquired Money Observer alongside the Observer newspaper in 1993.

Andrew Pitts will remain as editor of the magazine.
