The Herald & Times Group has announced the appointment of Tessa Hartmann as fashion editor-at-large across the group with effect from January 2012.

Hartmann is the founder and chairman of the Scottish Fashion Awards, Scotland’s most high profile celebration of fashion and style, of which the media group has been a partner for several years.

The newspaper division publishes The Herald, Evening Times and Sunday Herald.

Tessa said “I am absolutely delighted to be taking up this roll within the group. I hope to bring exciting content to the newspaper that doesn’t simply reflect current catwalk trends, but examines the power and influence fashion has in our lives.”
