Herald writer takes voluntary redundancy
Michael Tierney, a writer for The Herald newspaper, is leaving tomorrow after taking voluntary redundancy.
Tierney is two-times winner of the Feature Writer of the Year title at the British Press Awards.
Based in Glasgow, The Herald is one of Scotland’s top-selling daily quality broadsheets. It provides a combination of national and international news reported from a politically independent Scottish perspective, as well as local news and information services.
