Highland Marketing has hired Rob Benson as senior communications manager.

Benson has spent the last five years in digital communication for the NHS on a local and national scale. In his time at the NHS, he also provided knowledge management support, and developed a social enterprise focused on digital public engagement.

Previous to the NHS, Benson worked as web manager for a large Midlands university. He has also held editorial and account management roles on a range of private sector websites. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and his experience includes strategic marketing, digital and social media strategy, content marketing, business planning and copywriting.
