Hotwire appoints John Brown as head of engagement
Hotwire has hired John Brown, formerly a director at Speed Communications, into a newly-created role as head of engagement.
The agency has also promoted Laura Macdonald and Kate Hamilton to the position of director to strengthen its senior management team.
Brown, who worked across a number of B2B and telecoms accounts at Speed, will be spearheading the development and execution of non-traditional services across the UK office.
Hamilton will lead Hotwire’s global insight and analytics team, with a brief to continue investment into Hotwire’s proprietary social insights platform 'Listening Post'. MacDonald will drive the agency's consumer portfolio, helping teams develop integrated campaigns that show off the company’s creativity as well as attention to delivering real business results.
Hotwire has also welcomed back David Clare. Clare previously worked at Hotwire’s digital arm and now re-joins the agency, working in the consumer brands team, specialising in digital services.
