Hotwire lands brief with Hitachi Data Systems

International communications consultancy Hotwire has been appointed by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a provider of information technologies, services and solutions.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch process and will see Hotwire represent HDS in the UK, as well as coordinating a wider EMEA network of 13 agencies.

The brief has two campaign components: The UK campaign focuses on issues based PR aimed at building on HDS’ thought leadership in the IT industry. The campaign will extend across all HDS stakeholder audiences and will be supported by an integrated social media programme.

The second component will see Hotwire work with HDS to support its existing network of 13 agencies across EMEA. In this capacity, Hotwire is tasked with maintaining consistency of message, providing content in support of the issues based PR approach and managing requests from the network.
