Hubert Burda Media UK launches LandLove magazine

Hubert Burda Media UK is launching a bi-monthly women's lifestyle magazine, LandLove, on 12 April 2012.

LandLove will celebrate a more traditional way of life and the beauty of the British countryside, its flora and fauna. It offers recipe ideas using seasonal British produce from the market, garden and hedgerows. It will explore places in the British Isles and rediscover its most fascinating local customs and traditions. It will also contain practical advice and inspiration for those who garden and love crafts.

The magazine will be complemented by a website, which will reflect the ethos of the magazine and will aim to promote a sense of community among readers. The core LandLove reader is an ABC1 female homeowner aged 35+ who either dreams of a slower paced, more traditional life, or who is already living this life. 

LandLove's editor, Anna-Lisa De'Ath, says, 'With the spotlight strongly focussed on Great Britain as we celebrate the Jubilee and host the Olympics, there's never been a better time to launch a magazine that celebrates all that's best about Britain – its traditions, customs, countryside and wildlife. LandLove offers its readers a chance to escape from the stresses and demands of modern life. It’s an opportunity to shift down a gear, take time to appreciate the natural world around them and discover it changes with the seasons. The magazine gives access to an appealing world of rural beauty and tranquillity. It reaffirms traditional values and celebrates a timeless way of living.'
