Limelight PR has appointed Ian McCawley as senior consultant at its London office.
A former deputy editor of Marketing Week, Data Strategy and Precision Marketing, and editorial director at public sector magazine publisher GovNet, McCawley’s remit will include senior client servicing, and managing the strategy and delivery of PR campaigns across a number of Limelight clients. He will also play a pivotal role in staff development and new business.
He joins from global consumer data company Acxiom where he was UK & Europe PR manager, coordinating an international communications strategy across four European markets.
McCawley’s PR experience spans brand and stakeholder engagement, social media projects and industry report copywriting, with a range of marketing services clients in advertising, digital and data. His 15-year career spans regional and trade press as well as in-house and agency PR roles.
