Incisive Media is to launch a UK edition of the iPad publication Popular Science on 21 September.

Popular Science brings the cutting edge of science and technology to a wide audience. From gadgets to global warming, it explains how the latest developments and devices will change our lives.

The new UK edition brings the same interactive design and content to the UK App Store, but using UK currency and metric units throughout, and with new UK-only articles.

Tom Royal, deputy editor at Computeractive, has been appointed as editor of Popular Science UK. He can be reached at editor@popsciuk.com or +44 (0)207 316 9804.
