CD Automation, the East Sussex based manufacturer and supplier of industrial automation equipment, has appointed Stafford technical PR agency, Stone Junction, to handle its media relations and blogging activity.

CD Automation supplies power switching, monitoring and filtering products to the industrial automation industry and has a particular focus on micro-processor based technology; pioneering the development of Thyristor Power controllers.

“A Thyristor is a semiconductor device which, when used alone acts as a one-direction switch, but when used in parallel allows current to flow in two directions,” explains Richard Stone, founder of Stone Junction. “The range of Thyristors offered here can be applied in a number of high power-output applications, up to 2600A and 690Vac,” he continues.
