UK-headquartered maritime PR, marketing and design agency Saltwater Communications has promoted Karen Charlton to account director with immediate effect.
Charlton, who joined the company in May 2002 as print and media buyer, has run many global advertising campaigns for Saltwater clients, both offline and online over the years. She continues to manage the media buying and advertising department as part of her new account director role.
Charlton continues to manage a range of marine events, including the annual Motor Boat of the Year Awards ceremony on behalf of IPC Marine Media. She also organises the Saltwater Press Day Party at the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
