International editorial moves at the FT

Richard Lapper, previously Latin America editor, has become Southern Africa bureau chief. He replaces Alec Russell, who moved to London as world news editor.

Stephen Fidler, formerly defence and security editor, is now Latin America editor.

Ben McLannahan is moving to Hong Kong on 27 October to write about Asian business and finance for the Lex column.

Stuart Kirk has relocated to the New York bureau as US Lex editor.

Josh Chaffin, previously senior media correspondent in New York, has started as EU correspondent in the Brussels bureau.
