It’s Turbo Time at One

The Turbo Drinks Company, has appointed One Marketing Communications to handle its UK launch through PR and social media.

The Cumbrian company, launched at the start of 2011, has tasked One with increasing awareness of its drinks, including Turbo Original, Turbo Green and Turbo Ice, driving demand amongst consumers via social media and consumer and trade press channels.

One’s attention will be focussed on the clubber and student markets.

Head of PR at One Sarah Knight has previously worked with Turbo MD Nigel Tarn on Halewood drinks brands including Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer, Tsing Tao and Lambrini.

Sarah Knight said: “This is a great win for One and demonstrates the strength of our social media offering. The alcoholic drinks sector can today present a marketing challenge, but by looking at creative solutions relevant to the target audience we can have a lot of fun with the brand. It’s great to be working with Nigel again and of course you can’t beat an alcoholic brand on your books.”
