ITV Breakfast appoints Good Morning Britain deputy editor, news
ITV Breakfast has appointed Simon Cole as deputy editor, news, for its upcoming Daybreak replacement, Good Morning Britain.
Cole was head of news at Daybreak until December last year. He previously worked at Sky News as deputy head of news and head of newsgathering for 17 years.
Good Morning Britain will launch on ITV later this year, fronted by Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard, Sean Fletcher and Charlotte Hawkins.
