Jameela Jamil to leave BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart Show
BBC Radio 1’s 'Official Chart Show' presenter Jameela Jamil will be leaving her role after two years.
She will be replaced by Clara Amfo who joined 1Xtra in September 2013 as the host of the station’s 'Weekend Breakfast show'.
Jamil will move on to pursue other interests, but will remain a part of the Radio 1 presenter family.
Amfo will start on Sunday 25 January 2015. She will also continue to host the 'Weekend Breakfast Show' (6-10am) on 1Xtra.
