Jason Seiken joins the Telegraph
Telegraph Media Group has appointed Jason Seiken as chief content officer and editor-in-chief.
Seiken will be the first to fill the role and joins from US public service broadcaster PBS where he was head of digital. He begins in the job in October and will be responsible for all aspects of TMG’s editorial operations and completing the company's transition to a ‘fully integrated digital business’.
Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph editors Tony Gallagher and Ian MacGregor respectively, will report to Seiken.
Seiken has been PBS general manager (digital) for the past six years. Before that he was London-based vice-president of AOL Europe and editor-in-chief of the Washington Post website.
