Emap’s Retail Jeweller has hired Rachael Taylor as news and online editor.

Taylor is currently editor for Emap’s Spring Fair Marketplace. She begins on 6 November but is accepting news contributions now.

Rachael Taylor said: “I’ll be handling the news and business news pages of the magazine. Writing news daily online at the recently relaunched Retail-jeweller.com and editing the weekly newsletters.”

Taylor replaces Sally Priestly who leaves at the end of October. Priestly will become an editor at Breast Cancer Care.

Retail Jeweller is aimed at retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, designers and agents.
