Johnston Press update

Johnston Press will not replace weekly editor Nick Procter following his departure from the publisher. Ed Asquith, editorial director for the company's Yorkshire Regional Newspapers, will instead assume responsibility of the Bridlington Free Press, the Driffield Times & Post, the Pocklington Post and the Beverley Guardian

Procter left his role at Johnston Press to take up a managerial position at East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
